HOWEVER, if the light just came on when you were driving it is an indication that you have a problem with the engine that is causing the VTM system to think the vehicle is in traction control mode because of a loss of engine power or misfire. ABS and VTM-4 light on 2003 Honda Pilot -SOLVED Had an oil change at the local Walmart and after driving out, noticed my ABS and VTM-4 light on. Seems a little coincidental, but who knows. The ABS light would come on shortly after starting the Pilot, and the VTM – 4 light would come on within a mile of when I start driving.
