As you can see on the pics this crank uses different gear wheel for crankshaft sensor. Also the balance shafts looks like lighter than on old style K24 crank.The Honda K24Z6 is a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine that was used in Honda CR-V models manufactured between 2010 and 2014. The former uses a square design, with an 86 mm bore and an 86 mm stroke. To give the K24 an extra 400 cc of displacement, Honda increased bore to 87 mm and stroke to 99 mm. Once that engine is fully build and ready, you swap out your current engine. This takes a lot of time pressure out of the build. And things build in a hurry = issues. Once done, you can always sell your current engine and end with much of the same expense, but you have a car to drive while doing so.
