I ended up frankensteining the two and took all the good working parts between the two and combining them into one functioning revolver. I've decided to send back the "bad" Rough Rider with all the bad issues combined into one (weak hammer spring, weak trigger, bad timing) and am going to send back to Heritage and see what they'll do.That same image of ruggedness might also be applied to the newest Big Bore Rough Rider revolver from Heritage.
