I'm 99% sure it doesn't respawn as when I revisit old areas (and I do this a lot) there's no Greenshine to be found. There's 4 types of Greenshine: Shard > Fragment > Chunk > Slab (Very Dark Souls lol) They can be close to points of interest or hidden in some cave of cliff.
