Single p90 sounds better than any other p90 guitar pickup that I own or have played, usually they are muddy sounding in my opinion, but not this one. I think that this would be a great studio/gig worthy guitar for sure. I would buy more firefly guitars based on the quality of this one. I had to adjust the truss rod due to it being over tightened.Firefly Guitars' every expanded line of models now includes an Explorer type design called the FFLX. I got this guitar in the same finish as my Flying V type...This is for the "Firefly" guitar I just got through Amazon. For under $130, I did not expect much, but I am quite happy with what I got for my money. After getting my LP style Firefly, I felt like taking a shot at a hollow body firefly. I could only find the Amazon reviews on this guitar, but those were very good.
